Crosby's padded shirt has padding in select places, it's not a full padded shirt under shoulder pads. If anyone is wrapped up in too much protection(*See overkill), it's Patrick Kane. Dude has to be wearing a bulletproof vest under a Garth Snow pro return C/A.

interesting, do you know if that's a new development like as in NHL years or has he always been like that? would make sense considering I've seen more meat on Ethiopian kids than kane when in street clothes

If I were a small hotshot in the NHL you can bet I would be wearing some big pads as well. You guys talk a lot considering you're not getting run down by 230 lb beasts that know how to skate and how to hit. Small stars in the NHL have always been targets. You can't say they are pansies just because they are actually there to play hockey instead of being goons.

but seriously he's an excellent player and it's amazing that he is as effective as he is, goes to show you that talent beats size more often than not, unless you got both then you're Getzlaf.
