Crosby's pro curve

Recommended Posts

Well when you get a hat trick in one game with a combined shot distance of 20 feet, there's your answer. Meanwhile, Ovechkin scores from the top of the circles with his wicked curve and deceptive shot.

I guess it's just a matter of playing to your strengths. Ovie is a magic shooter, and Crosby is a gun passer, so they both use what suits.

I use a closed/neutral pattern as it helps with more parts of my game. Sure I miss it in close to the net when a nice open face might help me elevate the puck quicker, but I would find it a hinderance to the rest of my shots. So to each their own I guess

I found a Koho Jagr Torpedo for 10 bucks at Modell's in NJ when I was coming back from NYC on a school field trip. Needless to say I bought it cuz it felt REALLY nice stock in my hands. Went home, and looked at the Crosby "Retail" curve(I have a 1kSC87 Woodie as well) and the curves are nearly identical. The only difference I see is that Crosby's is a Mid-Heel curve for the most part, and the Jagr is definately a Mid curve. Has crosby ever used one of "his" sticks from Retail? even as a demo?
