True 1 at Peranis

Are you talking about the Senior 300 flex sticks? They're the same length as the 260s/220s. The true1s are shorter than most ops's though. I can't remember the exact length but I think it was somewhere around 3" shorter than the standard.

When I first got mine I only had to cut them down a couple inches. I am 5'10 with the sticks cut down a little below the bottom of my neck with my skates on. Didn't effect the flex.

Nah. I have found the shaft radius to be close to that of the other Sr. sticks that i have used ever since switching away from the Int. Synergy two years ago. The shaft length is just a little bit shorter than most other OPS, but are still of decent length. Each of the True 1s that I bought from Peranis came with both a standard and a 6" wooden end-plug (neither of which I put back in once the stick was cut down), so you should be able to get the length you are looking for.

Depends on whether you can handle the shaft shape and flex of the senior. If your going to force yourself to adapt to a 300 flex I'd say spend the extra money and get a proper stick for you. If not you won't like it and it'll be a waste of $130 instead of a well invested $175. It all comes down to what you think you can handle. If you can go and try out some 300 and 380 flexes to compare shape and flexes to see which will work best for you.
