RecLeagueHero 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 I believe the OP is refering to the full cage set ups that feature a visor over the top part and the standard metal cross wires under that. Itech makes such combo unit: http://www.hockeymonkey.com/it920comhals.htmlAs for the question, I can't seem to find anything in the USAH rules that speak to tinted visors in the equpiment section. Rule 304 does, however, state that all non-adult players must wear an HECC certified facemask and I don't believe the tinted visors are HECC certified. So the answer is probably not. fieldofdreams 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 No matter what the rules say, I would not recommend it. Especially not unless you can deke the shit out of the entire team on a whim. You will be chirped constantly, and you will get run. Not to mention the referees who will call bullshit on you just because of the tinted visor. It's NJ HS hockey. You WILL get run. Just how it is around here.
greech 4 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 If you were playing up here, I'd recommend against a visor at all. But that's just me..
