Easton S17 color variation

Recommended Posts

I was National Sports recently and saw a yellow & black S17 in 85 flex. The price tag was marked as a senior stick with "SR". I recall seeing an intermemiate 65 in the same color scheme, but the 85 was definately a senior. There seem to be a slight grip coating on the shaft as well.

What's the difference the yellow and the red grip S17? Is the yellow an earlier model of the grip S17?

Thanks

Easton released the S17's in special color variations. I remember our rep bringing in a couple a while back and he had a green, yellow, blue, red, purple. We ordered a few for the local teams in our area and i think it was a minimum of 6 per color.

It's not an S11. The yellow S17 price tag was $50 cheaper the the non-grip blue and $70 cheaper than the rep grip.

I've seen blue, red, green, purple, and yellow S17 sticks available in the Vancouver Island area. There are blue, red, purple, yellow, gold, green, baby blue, orange, black and white S17 sticks available either retail or pro-stock.

From what I've notice, Red(grip) and Blue(non-grip) are the standard colors. All the other colors such as orange, yellow, or green are regional color release. For example here is San Jose we got orange s17 because the Sharks players who use the S17 use orange ones, and the Ducks in Anaheim use orange because it's their main color. Green got released in Dallas and Minnesota because of the Stars. Yellow in Pittsburg, so on and so on. Black is Easton's "Limited Edition" color
