General Visor Question

when I put on my visor, should I screw in the screw as tight as it goes? or should I leave some slack. And I see that some people like tilting their visor up, while others will wear it normally. What is this purpose of tilting it up?? is it just preferences? Thanks

tilting it up is basically to get it out of the way so that they are abiding by the visor rules for the league but have "better vision". personally i find the bottom of the visor puts a big line in the middle of my sight if tilted up. in our leagues now you have to wear ur visor so it covers the tip of ur nose ( the way i wear it anyway)

Don't ever over-tighten screws on a helmet. You want them snug but not tight.

How much you tilt your visor is all personal preference.

I would be good to add that you shouldn't over tighten because:

it scratches the material

it can cause cracks which can cause it to be unsafe

do you have the proper spacers? If not do not cinch it up to the helmet. its best to have it tight but not tight enough to cause cracks or stress on the visor or helmet
