Pitch of One75 vs X:40 skate boot

I bought a pair of X:40 skates when they were first released, but the lack of heel lock drove me to a new pair of One75's which fit better all around. I had the X:40 blades profiled to my liking. Both are size 8 ( 272mm Lightspeeds). If I were to take the profiled blades off the X:40's and put them on the One75's would the One75's feel about the same on the ice? In other words do the 2 different boot models offer about the same forward lean or is one boot more forward than others.

Yes I could just try it but I thought I'd ask so I can decide if I want to go pulling the blades off new skates and risk warranty issues right off the bat. Any opinions?? Thanks!

I don't believe the one75's have 2.1 steel, so the steel is the same length. I would go for it. You won't have any issues for swapping steel. If you don't like it, swap back.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the X40's and turned them straight over to my LHS who knows what I like so I never skated the X series without a profile. Since that skate was just right and the One75 boot is less aggressive I think I'll skip the blade swapping and just get them done.
