Easton s15 replacement blade

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used them on here. What's the general consensus? I am looking at getting one for a shaft I have, but I really did not like the blade on the s17. Is it similar at all or is it closer to the se16 blade? I loved the blade on the se16. Thanks!

I have used an SE16 & a S17. The S15 blade, in my own personal opinion, feels a bit more toward a s17 blade. That being said, I am not stating that it feels like a s17 blade 100%. The puck felt about the same on the s15 blade. It isn't a blade I recommend though. If you look at the S15 blade, It has somewhat of a "tapered" hosel... )( that's how the blade looks on the neck if you are looking at it head on. That part of the blade has had issues with snapping/breaking.

My friend went through 3 or 4 in 3 months. All of the blades were broken at the )( point. This happened to me also before I threw on a Nike-Bauer ONE95 blade on my shaft. 4 months later, the blade is still in one piece.

There are better blades out there than the S15 blade. Easton has had a bad reputation for producing great blades with poor durability. The ONE 95 blades are real sturdy, durable & provide pretty decent puck feel... However, They don't have that thin ultra blade geometry Easton advertises - so if you really liked the SE16 stick blade, this would be the only difference.

The Warrior blades also hold up pretty well, also.

the S15 blade is the same as the z-carbon (as you would have probably known..).

Very lively and light. Personally I feel like shooting with a OPS when I use them with a standard shaft. TPS Red Lite+z-carb has been my weapon of choice for 3 years or so (and still is).

Apart from the fact that it's not exactly the most durable blade on the market, fantastic blade.

I feel its closer to the s17, I assume the blade on the se16 is mostly the same as the synergy elite blade, so try those (although they are tapered, which I think you know too).
