Lightspeed 2 and 2.1 runners

Couple of concerns here. I've never switched off holders on my skates before.

A Hockey shop is willing to do the labor as long as I provide the parts that are in need of replacement.

Replacing the holders is simple enough I take it. Before I go around purchasing-- This is a website I found. & I'm curious as to how many MSH members have purchased from this online-store. Many of my purchases that have been made over the years have been through hockeymonkey.com - How good is ocean hockey? They definitely look legit and they're the only online store I'm able to find that has both the 2.1 steel and the TUUK LS2 holder.

Second question - the holders are going on a ONE95 skate so all I'm doing is replacing the holder.... Now - I'm assuming that whatever holder size the TUUK states the current holder is - is the exact same holder I'm going to need to replace it with right? - The only reason this raises a concern in my head is because different websites have different fitting system guides & it's got me all confused. I have a 8.5 EE pair of Nike-Bauer ONE95 skates... The holders are the TUUK Lightspeed 2(size is 280 on each holder) with the 2.1 runner/steel. Some websites claim that 280 only work with 9-9.5 or some junk like that... anyway before I purchase -- I wanted to ask these 2 questions :)

Ocean has been in business for years, back to the days in which they mailed you a catalogue. THey're located in Brick, NJ - if you ever saw Chasing Amy I believe in the hockey scene you see their logo. They are based in that rink.

But let me ask you this -

You want 2.1 runners on the ONE95? You don't have to replace the holder for that. 2.1 runners fit in a standard Lightspeed 2 holder.

I'm replacing both the exact runner and the holder that came with the exact skate- I'm not attempting to alter the skate in any way -- The holders have plenty of deep gashes from heavy play & the 2.1 steel is starting to develop rust, unless you have any techniques as to getting rid of the rust, they'd need replacement :( . I've tried to take as much care of em as possible but it's time for new ones.

stick the runners in coke for a few days or something....it works with knifes and rust :P
