AK27 Gloves

Does anyone know if the new AK27 gloves come in the Montreal colours in 13" or only in 14"?? On the hockey shop's website it only lists the 14" version...

all hockey shops that receive them will be in 14-15''. Don't know exactly why. But there first batch was 14's and 15's. Not to mention the lack of color schemes you can choose from: Montreal scheme, Navy, Grey, White or Black, Grey, White. ;-c

Just wait a while longer and they may start releasing them in variety of colors and sizes. Just like the Warrior franchise glove - it was a simple black glove - Then a few months later, there was a variety of sizes and color for that glove.

How do these gloves fit? If anyone has tried them on, how do they compare to other gloves for fit and mobility? Specifically, the One95s and the Warrior Franchise narrow fit gloves. I'm looking for something with a closer fit and high mobility similar to the One95's or Mission Fuel 130's.

They are night and day. I have yet to try on a pair of AK27 pros, but the regular AK27's seem like a pretty budget gloves. Totally different materials throughout the two gloves.

i found them to pretty loose fitting. probably more similar to the wide fit franchise

So, are they quite a bit looser than a One95? I remember trying on a narrow Franchise and they were about the same as a One95 which is what I am looking for, but I like some of the design features of the AK's better than the Franchise. I like my One95's, but I find that the palms are to slippery feeling. I wish there was a One95 pro and then all my problems would be solved.

I think it would be difficult and expensive to re-palm them because of the stretch palm. Does anyone have any experience with re-palming a stretch palm?

I've got the normal ones. Holes in the palm after 2 months or so of light use (2 times a week at most). Occasional blisters, and they started falling apart the first night i got them (when i left the roller rink some stitching had already came out)

i emailed fixitbymail about repalming one90s before, and they said they could do it but they would use a nash palm instead. probably the same with the one95s. check with your LHS or email them
