XXX lite vs. One95?

finally broke XXX lite :( they seem to be VERY hard to find now days, with that 2 questions:

1) any idea where to get XXX lite stick or shaft?

2) since as the saying goes "to each his own" rather then asking which "stick is better - XXX lite or One95", could someone who used both sticks compare them in terms of:

• blade stiffness/responsiveness for shooting, pass receiving
  
• shaft flex - since one is tapered & the other isn't how do they shoot with the same flex
  
• overall feel for the puck

are you talking about OPS or only shafts here? In terms of OPS be careful, the one95 is very much tapered just has a higher kickpoint. In terms of shafts you are of course right.

I used a XXX Lite for quite a while until it broke this Winter...After that I tried a variety of OPS and 2pc setups until I recently purchased a one85 (same as one95 except 2" longer).

I find the blade to be more responsive and better feeling than the XXX. The kick point might be higher as many will say, but it still kicks like a mule. Wristers and snappers are hard and accurate (I play in a no slapshot league).

I was hesitant to try it as all the mid-kick "the one95 is for slappers the XXXX is for snap/wrist" crap on here got in my head...in the end I'm glad I "threw caution to the wind" and went w/ it...no regrets here.

Only listen to those who have used both...everyone else will likely be spouting off Bauer marketing B.S.

I really enjoyed the XXX Lite aswell and found it kicked in the right spot and had great flex to it, I got a XXXX and it felt personally much stiffer and different compared to the XXX Lite. When I got a one95 I found it felt very similar to the XXX Lite but only slightly different in the way of the kickpoint. It is abit higher up then the XXX lite was but its not too noticeable during gameplay only during warm up did I notice it.

My experience is very similar. May be a little bit better feel with the One95, but different kickpoint. I felt the XXX Lite was better for quicker shots. After playing around with a few other sticks, I now think the SE16 is as close to the XXX Lite in terms of kickpoint, feel, and balance. But since I broke my XXXLite and went directly to the One95 before trying the XXXX and SE16, I'm not able to do a full apples to apples comparison.

my feelings exactly - hence I'm selling XXXX that I used in one game only :)

XXXX feels definitely stiffer in the same length/flex, the blade is very stiff & clanky - I couldn't adjust in one game & figured it's not worth it.
