need new skates looking for a good shop to get fitted at

title says it all...i live in buffalo( not to long) and only know of greatskate and just by word of mouth i was told they dont know how to fit a skate at all...so my question is, is there another place in buffalo ny, or is there a place in canada that isnt to far of a drive that i should go to!

hey mn go to the place that has the most models and start trying stuff on yourself till you find what works. use this site and what you know about your foot shape a a starting point

Your best bet is to hang out around the local arena and ask some of the hockey regulars there who they recommend. Word of mouth usually finds you a great local hockey shop to do all the important things with your equipment.

yeah ive donethat a little bit...they all tell me to go to the pepsi center but all they stock is graf..and the only pair of grafs ive had were the 502 and i wasnt pumped about the forward pitch

You could try Front Row Sports in Thorold ... or make a day trip up to Toronto, take in the HHOF, and check out the shops up there. There have been quite a few threads on shops in the GTA.
