Can't find skates that fit like v10s for 220.00!

Recommended Posts

as the title states, I've just about had it buying skates wrong for my foot. I hate the cheap skates, because they are not very stiff at all! I'm a heavier guy at 230, so I need stiffness. I've had my v10s for 3 years now, and they are falling apart everywhere. I hate the vapor skates, and the u+ line, and the flexlite. I am unable to try eastons, as they don't have any in my size, but I see a few of my teammates who wore vectors for awhile, switched to easton se10/16. My foot is wide in the forefoot , and my heel is medium width, the thing is I have a fat foot! I really need help, because I only have 3 weeks to break these in! Please help me! Thanks

I Hope I don't get in trouble for this but what size do you wear? I have a Pair of V-12's that I wore for about 1 hour at an open skate and never wore again, that I might be interested in selling. They are a size 8 d.

Have you maybe thought of buying V10s again?

Yeah I have bought vector 10s again, but they appeared to be seconds and the holder was misaligned. And I'm not very happy with the volume on my vectors.

I know you said you didn't like the U+ skates. but have you looked at the new U+ Pro Reloaded. They are nothing like the 1st and 2nd generation U+'s and might be a close fit and feel

I just don't have the money for the reloadeds. They are pretty comfy though.

I have the same issue with fat feet and the two skates people recomende for me wher the Nike bauer supreme line and the reeboks. If your looking to spend around 250 then the NB One55 or the Reebok 5Ks might work.

The rbk's will work better if your feet are flat as well.

Another way to go on that price range for a stiff boot are the Mission XP's. I have the AGX's in EE width and after baking them they feel prety good.
