jmiami 4 Report post Posted September 22, 2009 I quit for over 20 years after an injury in high school. I picked the game up again a couple years ago and can't shake it. Hockey is not just a game, it's a culture. I sometimes play Open where a gentleman who is in his 70's often shows up. The first time I interacted with this gentleman was when I came off the ice, totally bagged and sucking wind. I grabbed my water-bottle from my bag and offered it to him first.Me: "...some water?"Him: "...no thanks. But if you have a glass of Chardonnay in there that'd work...seeing as we're coming up on cocktail hour...".Lord...please let me be that guy when I'm in my 70's. Please let me be that guy!
