blade comparison - switching from an old curve to new

Recommended Posts

I bought 10 gear hornets thompson curve a few years back from Hockey Giant for $39 each.

Love the weight and curve- problem is they dont have it anymore and I am on my last one.

I want to try out the high end Baurers or easton but want to find a comparable curve.

Anyone have an idea or owned a gear?

I think the curve is kind of like a Iginla - what is close to that in Bauer?

Thanks for your help

closest retail is pm9 malkin

Yup, the profile and curve of the PM9 (Bauer) when compared to the Zetterberg is identical. Supposedly the lie is 0.5 or 1 different, but when I line each of mine up side by side, they're exactly the same.

It's easier to match the blade than to find another great, round-edged shaft like the Hornet.
