Vintage Glove Sizing...

Recommended Posts

Even though he says they measure 15", that glove is not a 15" glove fit by today's standards. The tip-off is there are only 4 rolls. The cuff is also not very long. That Koho glove dates from the mid 80s. Ask him what model # on the cuff. I'm guessing 350. I would say the glove is a tweener: between 13"/14" by today's standards. I'll tell you one thing: they will be stiff with the one piece fingers in that old nylon material!

Given the 20 year old age, the gloves will be stiff. They can be "broken in" again. I just don't think they will be as soft, ready to go as you might think. Also, that nylon is more of a brushed nylon. It is hard to describe unless you have seen it before. There should have been a model # on the cuff right below the word Koho. Koho used to go 150, 250, 350, 450, etc. I don't recall an HG single # series from Koho.
