Roomy Ice Hockey Girdles

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a girdle, but i wear an XXL/56 in tackla's. I've been shopping around a little bit, but haven't found an answer to my question on any of the retailers's websites. I'm looking for most likely an XL girdle (since it seems no one has XXL girdles) that has the most room/adjustment in the quad, butt, and hip area, and also the longest girdle. If anyone has anything to contribute, I would greatly appreciate it.

I wear a 56 in tacklas as well and have a very big lower body. Just bought a ccm pro '08 model girdle from purehockey. 60 bucks. The girdle is very roomy, IMO. The shell is too tight, though. I thought I was taking a gamble with the girdle, but it worked out great. I'd buy the girdle again, but not the shell.

Thanks man, I'm looking at either that or vector pro girdle. Looking at warrior hitman shell in XXL.

I'd be interested in knowing how the xxl shell works out, if you get it. Found any other XXL shells other than warrior? I was thinking of taking the ccm shell to a seasmstress/taylor. I was thinking of having them rob the thigh zippers and some fabric (for expansions on the sides) from some older pants.

Might be cheaper and easier just to hold off and try to get an xxl somewhere.

I have a shell from RYR Sports that's great. They do work out of CA but are great with US folks. I used their gear in college (loaner stuff) and a few years after graduating when I needed to replace a different worn out shell I called them up and got a shell sent to me. You measure your waist and leg length and they'll mail it to you. Mine ended up being too long so I sent it back and they sent me a different one.

Can't offer any girdle advice as I've been using the same one from cooper for ~10 years
