Bauer Flexlite 4.0 VS. 4.0 Pro (a tale of my crappy feet)

Guys,

I'm strongly considering buying the Flexlite before I make any decisions I wanted to see if anyone has a good handle on specific differences between the 2.

One question I would have is about stiffness - is there much difference here?

Also, the HG guys told me that I could get the Pro as a custom order.

My progression of skates has been CCM (20+years), Daoust, CCM (1152), Graf G3, Rbk 9K's and att this point my old feet hurt so much when I play that it pretty much takes me out of the game. I have a bunch of pads on the hot spots and have has some strech work done and have the thick cotton custom pro tongues installed on my 9K's.

So I am thinking about a softer more forgiving skate, the other option is the Graf 707.

The flexlite pro is a ton more stiff than the 707, plus they fit quite a bit different.

what's wrong with your Rbk? is it the arch or ankle?

The left ankle has developed a semi-permanent bruise on the from of the leg directly upwards of the ankle and the right heel the other big hot spot.

When I aggressively flex forward on either skate I get a sharp pain in different parts of both feet.

The flexlite pro is a ton more stiff than the 707, plus they fit quite a bit different.

That may disqualify the Pro model.

What was the result of this? Did you get the 4.0s??? If so, how did they fit and did the tongue give you any trouble?
