stick length?

I have a jr. warrior syko. It measure 50 inches long/50 flex. I would like a new stick and i was wondering if i could use a youth stick that measures 48 inches and if i were to put an end plug in it if it would work for me. I am 5'2 100 lbs.

ok thanks i was just wondering if it would be to whippy but i play forward and i would only use it for roller/ball hockey.

The shaft dimensions on youth sticks seem to be alot smaller then they are for junior sticks. Plus i am not sure i have ever seen an end plug made for youth sticks. It might work for you but i would think you should hold one in your hands before making a decision.

i want a new stick i just cant spend a lot of money so i was thinking 2 inches isnt going to kill ya but i think i have to try it our first.

The blades are also a lot smaller on the youth sticks. The lies may be skewed as well. Make sure you look at that.
