sportchek has the easton s5 shaft 80 flex for 29.99, its pretty sweet with a wooden blade and not very heavy

also they have the RBK 6K shaft (feels very light) for 69.99 its an 85 flex

i would say yes (no knowledge tho), but not til next year and as it'll be essentially an UltraLite with current/newer ST graphics

another slightly more expensive option is a Z-Bubble/Stealth S15 (tapered shaft with a flare to accept a standard blade)

but the UltraLite/ST, One95, AK27 all have good reviews

Why would it take so long? the s19 is already out. I was hoping it would be out by mid november :(

After messing around, I noticed the woodie Bauer blades are the easiest and best blades to curve. I used a P88 and put a nice toe curve on it. Thing is, I like really low flexes on toe curves (I have around a 73 flex on my Saprykin). So I might try an Int shaft, but what blades go in Int shafts? I don't see Int blades online, or am I not looking close enough?

Intermediate shafts take senior blades.

Just any old bauer woodie? I bought a couple crummy easton blades before and put the nastiest toe curve (bigger than ovie) and there were no signs of ripples or anything.

Sweet, I modified a standard sr Vapor blade so I'll go with a One95 int shaft and be golden.

I used one of last years Vapor woodies, the XVI I think (The all black ones). I'm sure the new/current model is similar. I always seemed to have trouble with Easton woodies, but I might have just gotten better at it (learning curve with the Easton) and started using Bauer.
