Junior/College Ref Rules changes

There seems to be a new enforcement policy for interference/obstruction penalties going on, at least in New England and New York. Saw it at a number of Empire League Jr. games, and this weekend at a Merrimack/St Thomas U. college game.

What about other parts of the US and Canada? Are the refs calling even the mildest form of interference?

I could tell by the look of bewilderment on the St. Thomas (Canadian) players faces that they could not believe how many interference penalties they got!

The NCAA published that letter about that a couple of weeks ago. I think it's great that tey're trying to get all of the crap out of the game. The interesting thing is if they have the balls to carry through with it, unlike the NHL.

I know there's no two line pass in college, not sure about junior.

In minor hockey in Toronto (it could be for all of ontario) they took away the red line, so we can make 2 line passes.
