Pretty self-explanatory, after reading that someone bought gloves on here, I was curious and surprised to see that there isn't a forsale forum on MSH. Is there a specific reason?

there is a buy/sell/trade section. but as a new member you won't have access to that until a mod gives it to you. way to get it are through a certain number of revlent posts. don't ask a mod what that number of posts are b/c they won't tell you. you have to earn the right to get the access.
