I wouldn't play with a broken toe cap like that. If you take a puck off the toe it could hurt like hell, if not break your toes.

Warranties on the boot is only 3 months. Sorry bud you might be out of luck on that, but you can always ask. So good luck to you there!

But I wouldn't recommend playing with that, just for the obvious reasons.

Weird...

I was just talking to another member about adding a carbon fiber patch to his skates (in another area) but I don't see why it wouldn't work for the toe as well.

I'd do at least 4-5 layers, woven cross directionally, but when your done it should be even stronger than when it left Bauer.

I'd expect to spend at least $40 in materials and about 4-5 hours of your time, or you might try and contact a composite fabricator in your area and just pay them.

The process would be similar to this, but much smaller scale, and a few more layers.

I would call bauer and explain what happened. They might send you another pair. I had the same problem with a pair of one90s, and they were great to deal with. Sent me a new pair within 3 weeks

Did you just send it to them or did they tell you too?

On a side note, I reffed a kid last night who his tendon guard (pair of mid range supremes) dangling by a thread. Is this something that can be repaired, or are the skates done?
