Agreed the amount of teams going to black was nauseating. Only a few teams should be with black jerseys, and I for one am glad the Caps went back to red/white/blue.

I was at Incredible Ice for a game last night and got a chance to check out the jersey up close.

Positive: It really is a very nice looking jersey.

Negative: I cant see why this is a Panthers third. It is just too different than their other jerseys. If they used Panther colors (Red, Yellow, Dark Blue) it would have made much more sense.

Like I mentioned before, it's very possibly a forbearer of a rebrand. I would not be shocked to see a wholly new look for the panthers next season.
