Lightspeed blades - warranties?

I have a pair of XV skates, the blades broke only second time out, I am being told that the blades aren't under warranty? anyone out there who can confirm this?

That is wrong - apparently there is a bad batch of steel. They made them too hard.

We've had to swap a ton of steel, and they are covered. Tell your LHS to contact Bauer.

JR is right...we had the same problem, but Bauer took care of it for us.

Thanks guys, this is VERY useful. FYI I am the BNH agent in Taiwan and am getting the run around out of BNH International which is handled out of Germany. Can anyone confirm the length of the warranty?
