SOB deserves a massive suspension for that elbow on Kariya: targeted headshot against a defenceless player who has a history of concussions and is easily recognisable on the ice, and which sent him to the IR. This is exactly what the NHL needs to throwing the book at.

Kariya also played through - and scored through - a massive concussion after Stevens drove a shoulder-cap through his forehead. GHe's extremely tough. He's also left the game after finishing his shift and is now out indefinitely with a concussion. Gee, coincidence?

Kaleta attacked from a blind-spot and went for the head: period. If you've seen a different replay than I have that shows him target Kariya's temple with a shoulder instead of an elbow, all that proves is that the ref mistakenly called him for the elbow.
