What's on the inside?

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering about this, sure I know what the catalog and the website say, but I want to see the real thing. A while back Darkstar50 took apart a pair of old supremes, I think, and JR at one point took apart a NBH9500 helmet to show the carbon in it. Then there is this other guy that took the paint of his carbster to show the carbon weave. I'm talking about things like this, so if you have any pics with insides of skates, helmets, sticks, you name it, post'em here, because, I don't know about you, but I would love to see what's on the inside.

You need to find those "How it's made" videos. I recall CCM sticks, Eagle gloves, goalie pads and masks being on there. There's a video of Easton sticks too but if I recall correctly it doesn't show much.

I have that one, very interesting. Do they still use that kind of ankle support on the Supremes and Vapors?

What I don't get, with all the manufacturers, is it so hard to centre the holder on the outsole, because I think it's the most common problem with skates these days. Now hold on, I have something ground breaking of an idea here, kinda like the dual layer of the X:60, why don't they make the outsoles with predrilled holes so every holder would be perfectly centered? At least for the retail lines, I'm not talking about customs.

Who says that the soles are perfectly centered to begin with? If you did use pre-drilled outsoles, the mount couldn't be centered if the sole was slightly off.

To my way of thinking, a centering jig would be a better solution.
