Couple of Easton Questions

Recommended Posts

I am tired of the hassle of getting tapered blades and I am upgrading to a one piece.

I currently use a synergy 2 piece.

Q1: I have been using an Iginla curve and I noticed the Heatly curve is described as the same but a like 5 and not a 5.5. Is that accurate?

Q2: I was playing with a buddy's S19 tonight. The wrist shots felt amazing, but the slap shots felt weird as hell. Is that normal? Do you get used to the ellipse?

Q3: How much different does a warrior dolomite feel than an SE16?

1: Yes. The Heatley is also longer and has a different toe.

2. It's built to have a different feel. Having never used on on ice, can't tell ya if you get used to it.

3. Very different for me. They synergy series has always had great feel for me. I got to try a dolo the other day and wasn't impressed with the feel at all. I liked the stiffness and weight of the blade though. (By the way, don't forget your sticks at the rink- employees often screw around on the ice after closing, and guess who's sticks we screw around with...)

Does anyone know whether all of the Easton sticks have the same shaft dimensions (except for CNT)? I like a very square, concave feel (i.e. one95 or Mission). I felt a SE shaft the other day and it felt much less round than I remembered. Thanks.
