Easton Stealth S7 Hockey Helmet

tried the search but nothing... Whats the feedback on this helmet? Im usung the S17 right now but don't feel comfortable with that stiff padding.

I know its low end but whats it compared to the S9.. nhl guys using those over the s17's right?

I have an s7 and really love the fit and feel of it. I noticed when I was buying an entry level helmet, no one ever talked about the s7 and usually just about the s9 . I honestly like the feel of the s7 compared to my 8k but wear my 8k more just for piece of mind.

only difference is s7 has single layer vn and s9 has a dual layer of vn so you get better protection

There is really nothing wrong with the S-7, after all it's SE,HECC and CE approved. You get better protection with the S-9 but as long as the helmet carries those certifications it's good for any hockey.
