Rocket Runner profile?

After my Rocket Runners bent with only a few weeks on them, I decided to swap them out with Proformance steel. What I've noticed, however, is that the Proformance on the V08 makes them feel a bit more center balanced - is it possible the two have a different profile?

They are both supposed to be center balanced and 10', but as with all steel, all manufacturers, you never really know what you get out of the box. Left runner could be forward, right runner could be reverse. Also the sharpener could have altered the balance on the first sharpening.

Odd that your rockets bent, both of them? Did you try to have them straightened?

Nope - just one. They put it a roll press at a local shop and tried to straighten it - came out even worse - stand flat on one foot and I would do a 3 foot circle...and fall on my ass - lol.

I've seen one runner that had permanent bend, almost like it was cast that way. I just warrantied it, so if yours are just a few weeks old, you can do the same.

CCM gave me the Proformance scalloped as a replacement - I just find they don't feel like the have the same balance at all - it almost feels like I'm on Bauers.
