Broken wrist recovery time ?

So 4 weeks ago I broke my right (dominant) wrist snowboarding. simple fracture on the radius down near the wrist, no displacement or surgery necessary. Cast comes off in 2 weeks...what am I looking at in terms of recovery time needed before I can get back on the ice? I'm hoping no more than 2 weeks

I broke my hand in a hockey game before and had a cast, but I honestly forget how long it took me to recover.

I did something very similar when I was a teen. I was ready to go within 3.5 weeks of the break. I was playing with a cast on. It hurt like hell but still recovered. Please note, I had to midify my cast to fit my glove.

I'd make sure it is fully healed before stressing it heavily. Ask your doctor about physical therapy to strengthen it for the rigors of hockey. You don't want a weak, nagging wrist injury in hockey.
