Ok, today I was at United in Edmonton. I was looking around and went over to the skates section. I looked up at the 8000's and saw their price - $579 cdn. I then looked at the 8090's and they were up at $499 cdn. As far as I know, the 8090's are the top Supreme model, but they didn't have the top price. Can anyone fill me in on this?

from what i've heard from various people, it's because the 8090's use the outsole from v12s, the XX tongue and it's built off an already existing last, leading to lower costs to manufacture/create because parts already exist for it
