RBK new blades fit 7k sickick a few years old?

Hi guys,

I did a search and didn't come up with anything definitive. I have a 7k sickick shaft from a while back. It's this one;

I'm going to be ordering a replacement blade and want to make sure RBK's newer blade fit in that shaft because i know it's a bit of a wierd shape. I'm looking at the 8k blade;

Now, i BELIEVE that the shaft i have tapers but to be honest I haven't played hockey in a few years because of school so i'm not entirely sure.

EDIT: One more question actually. I've been using the same pattern for a while and i love it. It's the easton modano/forsberg/p4. Does anyone know which RBK pattern is the same?

shaft is tapered and the 8k is tapered. Pattern you would want would be Hamrlik(P34)
