jabster410 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2010 Ok, so I'm in the market for some new inline skates. I am coming from a pair of Mission Wicked 7's size 13EE which I liked alot and seemed to fit me well. I am looking at the Mission Boss Black's from 2009, the Mission Assassin SE from 2010, or the Bauer RX 25's from 2010. If you could offer me some suggestons it would be much appreciated. Also, I know that Mission took over Bauers sizing for the 2010 line but what about for the Boss Black's, would i still be a 13EE or more like and 11.5? Thanks
dreww 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2010 The Wicked series and Black series should be the same sizing. The new SE line is where the sizing changed up. Out of all those choices I would personally go Boss Black, mainly for the boot stiffness and components like the Mag Chasis, Swiss Bearings, Inner Padding, etc.
Chad Seibel 2 Report post Posted March 25, 2010 If you have not bought any yet, then might I suggest Tour skates? I know i am a little prejudice, but I do know that they are a good boot and awesome chassis and wheels.

Only had em for a year and the soles are getting super soft. Probably because i'm a bigger guy though. I loved the skate, but not sure if the longevity was there. How long should a good performance skate last if you are on them say twice a day every week?

Mine... probably 4 hours a week from last Feb to the beginning of the summer, 10 hours a week over the summer, and i wasn't playing from fall 09 til just a few weeks ago. :(
Chad Seibel 2 Report post Posted March 26, 2010 That amount of skating seems to be a lot. I think a good performance boot will last that long, but I think any manufacturers boot will begin to break down along that time frame. Sounds like you do a lot of skating my friend.
