Good LHS in New Jersey or NYC?

I'm going to be traveling to New Jersey for business in a few weeks, and I was thinking of taking my new skates for a little bit of work. I'd like to see about getting them punched out a little bit in the arches, near the heel. The hotel I'm at has a shuttle across to NYC, so I suppose I could do that, but if there's something on the NJ side, that might be easier..

check the ice house in hackensack, darkstar50 (peter i believe) is very helpful. Although I have never met him anytime I pm him he's more than happy to help. Ice vault in wayne also has great selection.

For retail selection, I'd say Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ. For getting work done on your skates, I'd say Westside Skate & Stick in Manhattan or Eastern Ice Sports in Summit, NJ. Also, Pre-Game Sports in Westwood, NJ is a small, no-frills shop where a lot of locals get work done. I can't speak to how good Ice House is for work, although it is a fairly major facility in the area (4 rinks). I find their retail selection pretty limited.

West Side Skate and Stick do very good skate work.

It's a smaller shop not connected to any rink.

Gear-wise, they don't have as big a selection as some of the NJ shops.

And they're not open on Mondays.
