Taking sticky tack off a vector

Is there anyway to take the sticky residue off the vector besides the goo gone?

Rubbing alcohol or gasoline should both work

What I did was take all the decals off. So what is left is the cool looking blue checker look. I did have to use some goo gone to get the decal sticky off.

thanks guys.....the rubbing alchol didnt work, but I tried brasso and it worked like a dream...took it all off with little effort..
