puckhoggy 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2010 Hi.Do you think it's safe to use a steam cleaner on hockey equipment to disinfect them? Im talking about the steam cleaners used for clothing as opposed to the traditional iron.I've been on top of gear cleaning, but still have difficulties with smell, so im hoping the steam cleaner can help, and also get ride of any nasty germs that have been lurking.thx
Law Goalie 147 Report post Posted March 22, 2010 It's a very good way to clean hockey equipment - especially if you have a wand attachment that can get into the fingers of gloves. For things like shin-pads, pants, shoulders, etc. I've found a spray bottle with isopropyl alcohol is faster and easier.
