FM 480 vs. FM 5k cages fitting

Is the 5k cage a little longer than the ccm/jofa Fm480 or they're just the same length?

I've bought the ccm480 MEDIUM size and it fits a little short for me.

In case i order a Rbk cage, should I go for the M or the L size?
