one75 or Easton se 800c for boot conversion with sprungs?

Recommended Posts

i need some help...i can't decide what to do. I am about 200lbs and i play center. I play ice and roller all year. Up to now i have been using a Easton se6 boot and a tuuk one up chassis for roller. I am getting the sprung chassis and just trying to decide on a boot. The Easton SE6 got pretty chewed up, so i am not sure if i want to go with Eastons again. I would like a light skate but i put a lot of demand on the stiffness of the boot as well. Right now i have a Easton SE 800c like new, and i really like it on ice. I am currently using Bauer one75 on ice and it is very light and solid.

So i am trying to decide what to do. Maybe these boots aren't really what i am looking for at all, i am open to suggestions.

What do you guys think?

thank!

If I had to choose between the two I would go with the one75 although I think I read something about them being a pain to mount the sprungs on. Check out the Sprung thread. That being said if you play ice and roller you WILL love the sprungs.

I had 175s and they're no problem. All of the NBH and Bauers have the same outsole setup and they account for almost half my conversions.

Never skated on Eastons. The 175s were from when they first came out. I used them for six months and then gave them to a local player who wore them out in a couple of years of constant use. My only problem was the A6 being too short for me. The kid using them grew up with short frames with no wheel showing either end, and thought them Generous.
