Repairing pants...

Recommended Posts

So I've skated with these CCM V10 pants 3 times and I already have a tear in the crotch area. It's a little flap that is right underneath the bottom of the zipper and just above the stretchy area of the crotch...theres more fabric underneath this flap but wow — I guess I expected more out of a top of line CCM pant.

Not to mention the zipper came off it's track the first time I took the pants off. If not for the fact that these fit me extremely well I'd have returned them and gotten something from Bauer or Easton...

Question is, where on earth can I get these repaired? Will a normal tailor or dry cleaner that does alterations be able to do this? (Stitch the fabric and fix the zipper)

I had a pair of NBH Vapor XXX that were torn in the crotch as well. I took them to a shoe repair shop. The 3 tailors I took them to said that a regular sewing machine can't do them. A shoe repair shop should have the right machine to do it. Not sure on the zipper though.
