Making shims?

What should I make these out of? Im looking for a wedge shape to put underneath my holders.

When I bought my Grafs, the pro shop I bought them from made shims because I tend to walk on the outsides of my feet. He used what looks like pieces of leather and just screwed the holders back on right through them. The leather is about as thick as a belt

I buy high density polyeurothane in the thickness i need from mcmaster.com

Then i take the size holder i plan to shim, trace the section i plan to raise then cut it out and tape it to a piece of the HDPE and use a bench sander to shape it. Then drill the center and use a scroll saw to remove the excess from center for the TUUK bolt. From there i line it up with the holder and use a marker to mark the rivet holes, drill those out and mount from there.

A little more detail and time than rally needed but im a perfectionist and it has suited me well from One90 to One95 and now TotalONE.
