warrior dolomite "dd" ops

hey guys, i just ran out of first gen dolomites, second gen dolomites, and can not currently locate any HD 75 flex grip modles in a vanek, has anyone used a "DD"? and what can you tell me about it in comparison to the older dolos? i did a search and not much poped up. im more interested in weight, balance, and feel. i would hate to switch brands.

my LHS is anti warrior. so i would have to place an order.

durability *appears* to be better, especially with the blade. We've only had 2 people come in and ask for a new stick, so that means that they haven't been breaking as much as before or the people buying the dolo aren't idiots. (i think its the former).

It seems more rigid and slightly lighter than 1 and 2 gen, but that might be because i haven't felt one in so long i don't really remember what it used to be.

I bought a DD and it broke in 2 ice times, got my new one and it certainly has lasted, 2 months or so, 3-4 ice times a week.

looking at warrior's specs, they're exactly the same as previous dolos but with the addition of DD foam in the blade.

the DD foam is the whole high density low density stuff thats supposed to improve puck feel while dampening vibrations.

weight and balance should be the same exceptional weight and balance as previous dolos.

however, there is one ambiguity and that the warrior site lists the dolo DD as both a linear (standard kick) taper and a precision (low kick)taper.

my gut tells me its still the low kick, but the dolo spyne is now a linear taper.

i got the stick in the mail, and used it. nice feel. nice pop. and its a wee bit lighter and better balanced. superior stick indeed!

did they change the curve? (NOT THE LIE) the curve!

because its differnt than my 08 dolo, and! mine is a retail! they both are....
