Bay area hockey help

Hey everyone, I am going to be in the Bay area, San Fran and San Jose for a few days. May 12th-17th or so, was wondering if anyone can give me insight on where I can get into some games or pick up while I am there. Suggestions? I did a search, but there was nothing recent on the boards, so thought Id start a new thread.

Ice center in San Mateo, fridays at noon is where i do pickup

There are also rinks with various pickup games...

Ice Oasis in redwood city

Cupertino ice center

Sharks ice in Fremont and Oakland

But the majority of the hockey happens in San Jose at Sharks ice San Jose.

Everybody has a website, and you should be able to find a time to skate!

drop in game players range from wanna be super stars to guys who cant skate but for the most part people are nice. The good players will pass to the newbies and not get mad when they mess up

Thanks guys for the help. I have now arrived in the Bay area. I am hoping to play at least 3-4 times, before Monday. Just have to decide which rinks to try out! You have all been a great help. Might try a few different rinks. Just not sure which to pick yet...:) If anyone is going to play, and want to meet a fellow mod member, msg me or reply!
