Mission Driveshaft

I have a pair of mission flyweights from 2002. Why did mission take out the driveshaft?

The guy at the LHS said that it made the holder too stiff, but isn't that what you want?

The guy at your local shop was correct. The driveshaft made the holders so stiff that they would snap and crack quite a bit.

The DS combined with a composite outsole made it entirely too stiff. The DS was being used til last year on skates with PU outsoles.

will it cause the composite outsole to crack too?

what's a PU outsole?

No, it just snapped the blade.

PU = plastic.
