Good Deal Topic

I don't want to stir up any problems. But do have a question. I used the Good Deal Thread to find several pieces of equipment for my boys 13 & 7 over the last year. However it has been locked for some time. I'm not sure why or who caused it to be locked.

I have a couple of questions in that regard though:

1) Isn't there a way to open it up for those of us without LHS in the area and that depended on it to save a little $$$ on hockey equipment?

2) Is there another resource on the web that you may be able to point a relative hockey newbie to?

I loved the good deal thread too, but it was causing too much work for the mods, so it looks like we'll have to do without for a bit.
