My Bauer skates have the Lightspeed 2 holder in them and I was looking to change out the current LS2 blade with either the LS2.1 or LSFusion. I have read about the differences between the two runners, yet I was wondering if anyone has tried either the LS2.1 or LSFusion? What did you like and not like? For example, I have read that the LS2.1 helps to increase potential skate speed and power but by possibly sacrificing turning ability (i.e. harder to turn with a longer blade). Is this correct?

The LS2.1 is a slightly longer runner approximately the same length as the next larger size holder would utilize but my understanding is that it is still the standard Bauer radius. I don't know that anyone every really verified the claims about increased power but you might feel a slight increase in stability. If you are a weight freak the Fusion runner holds some real possibilities but the cost can get up there and I personally might wait a year or so to make sure there aren't any breakage issues in the first release.
