beerleaguecaptain 1004 Report post Posted July 31, 2010 Has anyone used the Warrior Projekt shoulder pads yet? Reactions? Would you consider this a low profile pad?
Ansonwolfe 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 I tried this on at the LHS. Although the foam material feels soft and light, the shoulder caps came out quite bulky. I went with the Easton S19 instead whose caps sat significantly lower.
DolomaticDangles 13 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 I havent personally tried them, but according to Warrior and a few others, its supposedly a very low-profile pad- it shouldnt have a bulky feel Ansonwolfe, did you have the right size?

Large was clearly way too large. Medium fitted nicely on the body. According to the sales rep, it was just right but I didn't feel the cap was low profile when compared to the Easton.Edit: I will add in that the torso part did feel very nice. It was the cap, specifically, that turned me away from the pad. It might be, it just wasn't for me.
beerleaguecaptain 1004 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 The cap sticking out is a big thing for me so I guess they are out. To bad... it was soooo light and comfy.
