Revision Vanquish Sizing

Recommended Posts

Sorry for all the sizing posts - you dont know how hard it is to spend over $300 on a pair of skates without being able to try them on first.

Can anyone offer some advice on Revision Vanquish sizing?

Im in a size 10EE Mission Lieutenant right now so want to get as close to that as possible.

Cheers

You're in a Mission US10? If so, you would need a US9 or US9.5 in the Revision Vanquish, depending on how snug you like your skates.

Ok thanks

Seeing that returning this would be hard work - I might just settle for a less snug fit...to make sure they will fit me.

I dont have much experience with 'snug' or 'non-snug' boots, I wouldn't really know if I had a preference or not.

If you order at RevisionHockey.eu returning would be easier and cheaper. You only pay for shipping the skates to the Netherlands. 'Like' Revision Hockey Europe on Facebook and send us a note with your name and e-mailaddress and I will throw in a free set of wheels.

Thanks NummerIt will still be a bit more expensive than ordering from InlineWarehouse in the USA (even including shipping) but I might just do it for the ease of returning them.

If they're the wrong size, is it as simple as sending them back for another pair?

Also - are all the Revision skates rated as D width? I got the following email back from one of the Revision guys:

We would recommend a size 10 skate or perhaps a size 9.5. Our skates are built off a EE last so the width should be comfortable for you

So i'm guessing their skates are built off an EE width cast/model? So if they only offer a D width, i'll be ok as this is based on an EE cast? (does that make sense?)

Cheers

Yes, if you didn't bake or skate them you can send them back and have them swapped for a different size.

They are built off an EE last. Revision didn't rate them D or EE as there is only one width available. Where did you see them rated D?

InlineWarehouse have them rated as 'D' int heir size availability chart.

I'm having troubles with that one, They're suggesting to go 1 size down... I'm a 9.5d in ccm so should I go with a size 10?
