Rink Rat Rep on MSH?

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if anyone who works for Rink Rat posts here on MSH? I need to contact someone with the company regarding a warranty issue, but their website is completely useless.

Thanks

The way to handle a warranty claim is to go through the dealer you purchased from. As far as the Rink Rat website being useless perhaps that is because they are in transition to a new distributorship Faction Sports out of Lake Forrest CA. Talk to the retailer you got your wheels from. They should be able to dirrect you best.

Their webpage has like 5 things on it, one of which is a phone number. I had problems with those blue flame wheels, or whatever they were called, and they were super helpful via phone.

Update:

The rink rat web page has no contact info on it, & the only link on the page goes to a site that has nothing to do with inline wheels.

In other news, I called goaliemonkey.com (where I purchased the wheels) on Friday morning & spoke with someone (Steve I think) who kindly asked me to e-mail pictures of the affected wheel, which I promptly did.

I never received a call or e-mail from a specific person about the issue, however I did get a "UPS Quantum View" shipping notification e-mail later the same day telling me that I would be receiving a package this Thursday, which I can only assume contains a new wheel.

I must say that I am very surprised that goaliemonkey is taking care of this, as in most warranty situations I have encountered, the retailer directs you directly to the manufacturer or importer.

Kudos to you, Monkey Sports!

The Official Rink Rat page (which is under construction at the time) is www.rinkrathockey.com The site referred to below(www.rinkrat.com) has nothing to do with our wheel company...it is an old corporate site that we do not have administrative access to therefore we cannot take it down, at this time.

Faction Sports, based out of Lake Forest, CA, took over all operations of Rink Rat wheels about 6 months ago and we are still in the process of "cleaning" everything up.

I apologize for the confusion and difficulties you experienced trying to get in contact with us.

Our office line is 949-273-8880. Warranty department email is warranty@faction-sports.com. You can also email me direct at nick@faction-sports.com

Thanks
