inner boot leather

Why dont hockey skate manufacturing companys use the old leather inside the boot anymore.. in my opinion it was more comfotable and durbale...... and all this talk about lighter skates ( ex. synergy skates and xxxs) is all reatrded. Dont you feel more balanced with A skate that is not 1 gram in weight??? Just an oponion.

I'm not sure about leather being more durable as it does dry out and crack sooner than synthetics like nash or clarino.

I've never skated on these new gen. ultra light skates. Personally I'm not against a lighter skate, but it's the compromises in durability, comfort and maybe quality that I don't buy into.

lighter than XX and Vector Pro is too light in MY point of view
